Service Request

Before you place a service request, we might just be able save you time and money if you could check the following items. If, after checking this list, you still would like to schedule a service request, either call us at (614) 939-9114 or fill out the short form located at the bottom of this page.

  • Check the breaker box on the wall panel to be sure the furnace or air handler and air conditioner have not tripped out. If so, remember to turn breaker off and back on to reset it properly.

  • Be sure the thermostat selector is set in the proper position to either heat or cool and that the temperature dial is set properly for the room temperature meaning that the dial is set higher than room temperature for heating and lower than room temperature for cooling.

  • Check your filter and make sure it is clean, if not then clean or replace if necessary.

  • Check the disconnect box on the wall by the outdoor condenser that it is in the on position. Some of them use fuses and should be checked for blown fuses or tripped breakers.

  • Check the furnace or air handler to be sure the power disconnect mounted on the unit is on. Some of these have fuses as well and the fuse should be checked to make sure it is not blown.

  • Make sure that all your supply registers are free from furniture and other obstructions and blowing freely. Each supply register will have a lever to open and close the blades.

  • If your thermostat is electronic, are the batteries charged? Display showing?

  • In the heating mode if you are on propane or oil, be sure you have fuel in the outdoor tank.

  • In the heating mode on high efficiency furnaces, check to make sure your termination vent is not blocked by snow or ice or that your venting piping is connected properly.
