An extended warranty is an insurance policy on your heating and cooling system.  Your HVAC equipment runs continuously throughout the year and this can cause a lot of wear and tear on your system. Repairs on your equipment can be a large and unexpected cost. 

With an extended warranty you get the peace of mind knowing that if your system does break down it will be repaired professionally, promptly, and with no cost to you. If your equipment is less than a year old you may want to purchase an extended warranty to cover parts and labor.  Most manufacturers offer a five year parts warranty; unfortunately that doesn’t cover labor.
